If you don’t see your refund please don’t panic.
Although subscription cancellations can occur quickly, payment cancellations can take between 7-10 business days. It can take several days for your Google Play account to reflect changes in cancellations and refunds. After this period please check your bank account to see if the funds were actually deducted. We also encourage to reach out to Google Play directly here.
At this link, you can contact a Google agent who will be able to more directly manage your account.
If your refund is taking longer than expected, check your refund status on your Google Payments account. If the status is "Refunded," you will see a credit on your form of payment. If the status of a subscription is "Cancelled," the order was never charged and you will not see a credit on your form of payment.
I have a charge on my card but my account says my purchase is non-refundable
In some cases, you may see a charge on your card or bank account while your Google Play account states that your purchase is "nonrefundable." This is due to Google’s new payment policy. If you do not cancel before the second last day of your trial, Google will initiate a charge. But don’t worry, the charge is only a preauthorization. This means the amount is not actually removed from your account as long as you cancel your trial in time. Please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org so that we can cancel your trial and impending charges. Then the amount should appear in your account within several days. Your payment method will affect the amount of time the refund takes. Please contact your credit card or bank to ask about the process.
