Yes. Lingokids exists to open up quality education to more kids around the world, and we build an app that's educational, entertaining, and safe — completely ad-free, certified by an independent children's safety programme, and with payment screens kept well away from little hands.
Does Lingokids Show Ads?
Never. No pop-up ads, no advertising to kids, nothing. No ads. Ever.
Is Lingokids COPPA Compliant and kidSAFE Certified?
Both. Lingokids complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and is a certified member of the kidSAFE® Seal Program — you can read about how they certify us if you'd like the detail.
How Does Lingokids Protect My Family's Information?
You care how your family's information is used and shared. So do we — grown-ups, educators, and kids all get the same protection. Our full privacy policy sets out exactly what we collect and why.
For what happens to photos and voice recordings from activities that use your device's camera or microphone, see whether Lingokids uses your camera, microphone or photos.
Can My Kids Make Purchases by Accident?
No. Before any enrolment or purchase information appears, we ask a grown-up a few quick questions — so your kids never bump into anything to do with payments or marketing.
And every in-app purchase goes through your Google Play, App Store, Huawei AppGallery or Amazon account for authorisation, so nothing gets bought without you.
