Lingokids learning methodology

The Lingokids Learning Methodology is built on eight pillars, each covering a different part of how kids grow — thinking, feeling, communicating, moving, creating. Every activity in the app connects to at least one of them. The pillars come from our Education team and board, drawing on learning science and years of classroom experience.

We're still working the pillars through all our content, and we'll share more about each one as we go.

What Are the Eight Pillars?

1. Whole child development — every side of your kids' growth counts: thinking, feeling, social, physical and creative. Confidence and curiosity that stick around
2. Engineered motivation — activities that spark curiosity and celebrate effort, so your kids want to keep going rather than being pushed
3. Personalised and adaptive learning — content shifts to match each kid's pace, with the right amount of challenge and support
4. Guided stretch — the next step is never too easy or too hard, so your kids build confidence without pressure
5. Balanced structure and critical thinking — a mix of structure, repetition and room to think, building memory, problem-solving and reasoning
6. Assessment for progress, not pressure — playful checks that show you how your kids are getting on, without turning it into a test
7. Real-life application — what your kids learn on screen is meant to turn up off it, in the world around them
8. Social and family integration — kids grow through connection, so the app encourages playing and learning together

Why Does the Methodology Matter?

It means nothing in the app is there by accident. Every activity your kids play is tied to a specific part of their development, chosen deliberately rather than because it looked fun in a design meeting. That's what lets us keep the app genuinely enjoyable and genuinely useful at the same time.
