You don't need to work it out — the app does it for you. When you enter your kids' age, Lingokids starts serving content pitched at that stage and adjusts as they go, so there's no level to set and nothing to get wrong.
How Does Lingokids Decide the Level?
Content sits in three bands, and your kids' age puts them in one:
- Beginner — ages 3 and under
- Intermediate — ages 4 to 6
- Advanced — ages 7 and up
Each band has activities matched to what kids that age can manage, both in what they're learning and in how much dexterity it asks of them. As your kids get better at things, the app nudges the difficulty up — enough to keep them interested, not enough to put them off.
It also puts forward activities covering words and ideas they haven't met yet, so there's always something new rather than the same few favourites on repeat.
Do I Need to Set Anything Up?
No. Everything your kids see in the Kids Area is already pitched to their age, with no setup at all. Just let them play and the content shifts along with them.
What If I Entered the Wrong Age?
You can change it in the Parents Area — go to Profile, pick your kid's profile, and update their age. The content adjusts to match.
Where Can I See How My Kids Are Doing?
The Progress Center in the Parents Area shows which activities they've finished and which skills they're building. There's more on what Lingokids offers at each age too.
