Alexa Kids is a collection of experiences designed specifically for children, available on all Alexa-compatible devices. It can play music, answer questions, read stories, tell jokes, and so much more — all with young listeners in mind.
Once you create a child profile, Alexa can recognize your child's voice and respond in a kid-friendly way. It also filters out explicit content, blocks shopping, and makes sure kids only access parent-approved, age-appropriate content. Simple, safe, and fun!

You can use the Lingokids Alexa skill wherever you are, as long as your device is set to one of these languages:

How do I set up and use the Lingokids Alexa skill?
First time using Alexa Kids?
You can manage child-friendly, parent-approved content through the Amazon Parent Dashboard. For more details, visit the Amazon site and head to the Kids and Family section.
How do I open the Lingokids skill?
Enabling Alexa Kids is optional — you can still enjoy Lingokids content on Alexa without it. That said, we recommend turning on the parental controls for the best experience!
Once the skill is active, simply say: "Alexa, open Lingokids."
How do I find content?
Just tell Alexa what you're in the mood for! Try saying:
- "I want to dance"
- "I want to learn"
- "I want to sing"
- "Tell me a story"
Lingokids will put together a personalized playlist just for your little one.
How do I control playback?
You and your child can manage audio with these simple voice commands:
- Pause: "Alexa, stop"
- Resume: "Alexa, continue"
- Skip: "Alexa, next"
- Go back: "Alexa, previous"
- Volume up: "Alexa, turn up the volume"
- Volume down: "Alexa, turn down the volume"
- Repeat: "Alexa, repeat"
- Get help: "Help" (only works while the Lingokids skill is active)
