We're sorry to see you go! If you need to cancel your Lingokids subscription, we've made the process as simple as possible. The cancellation steps vary depending on where you subscribed.
Important: Uninstalling the Lingokids app will not cancel your subscription. You must cancel through the platform where you originally subscribed.
Choose Your Subscription Platform:
Select the platform you used to subscribe to Lingokids:
- Apple App Store / iTunes
- Google Play
- Lingokids Website
- Amazon Appstore
- Not sure where you subscribed?
Cancel Apple App Store / iTunes Subscription
Due to Apple's privacy policy, we cannot manage App Store subscriptions for you. Please follow these steps on your iOS device:
- Open the Settings app
- Tap on your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Tap Lingokids
- Tap Cancel Subscription (you may need to scroll down to find this button)
Your subscription will be canceled at the end of the current billing cycle.
Note: If you don't see a Cancel button or see an expiration message in red text, the subscription has already been canceled.

Cancel Google Play Subscription
Follow these steps on your Android device:
- Open the Google Play app
- Tap the profile icon in the top right corner
- Tap Payments & Subscriptions
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Lingokids
- Tap Cancel subscription
- Follow the instructions to confirm
Your subscription will be canceled at the end of the current billing cycle.
Important: If your app gets removed from Google Play, your subscription will be canceled automatically, but past subscriptions will not be refunded. Learn more in Google Play's help article.
Cancel Lingokids Website Subscription
If you subscribed directly through our website, you can cancel from within the app:
- In the Parents Area, tap on the Profile icon
- In the Profile section, tap Account
- Tap Cancel my subscription
- Confirm the cancellation
Your subscription will be canceled at the end of the current billing cycle.
Cancel Amazon Appstore Subscription
To cancel a Lingokids subscription purchased through Amazon:
- Go to Amazon.com and sign in
- Hover over Accounts & Lists at the top-right corner
- Select Your Account
- Scroll to Digital content and devices and click Content and devices
- Click the Apps tab
- Find Lingokids and click the three dots for more options
- Choose Manage subscription
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Follow the prompts to confirm
You should receive a confirmation email once the cancellation is complete.

Not Sure Where You Subscribed?
No worries! You can find out by checking:
- Your subscription confirmation email
- Your payment receipts
- The charge on your bank/credit card statement
Look for these indicators:
- "Apple" or "iTunes Bill" → You subscribed through the Apple App Store
- "Google Lingokids" → You subscribed through Google Play
- "Lingokids" or "Monkimun" → You subscribed through the Lingokids website
- "Amazon" → You subscribed through the Amazon Appstore
What Happens After Cancellation?
Access to your subscription:
You'll continue to have full access to Lingokids Plus for the remainder of your current billing period. After that date, your subscription will expire and you won't be charged again.
Switching to Basic:
Your family will still be able to use Lingokids with our Free Basic Access after your subscription ends.
Remember: Uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription. You must follow the cancellation steps for your platform.
