Lingokids refund policy

Refunds for Lingokids Plus are looked at case by case, and whether we can issue one depends on where you bought your subscription. If you're inside the refund window, get in touch and we'll take it from there.

When Can I Ask for a Refund?

The window starts on the date of your first payment:

• Monthly subscription — contact support within seven days of your first payment
• Yearly subscription — contact support within 30 days of your first payment

If you're past that, we can't refund the payment, but we'll explain why and help you cancel so nothing renews.

Where Did I Subscribe?

Open your payment receipt and look at the wording on the charge — that tells you which route applies.

• Apple or iTunes Bill — you subscribed through the App Store, so Apple handles the refund
• Amazon — you subscribed through the Amazon Appstore, so Amazon handles the refund
• Google Lingokids — you subscribed through Google Play, so we review the refund
• Lingokids or Monkimun — you subscribed on our website, so we review the refund

What If You Can't Find My Account?

We look your account up using the email address you write in from — and families often subscribe with one address and email from another, so sometimes there's nothing under the one we've got. Any one of these lets us find you:

• Any other email address you might have used to create the account
• A screenshot of your latest Lingokids Plus receipt
• Your Google Play order number, which looks like GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX
• A screenshot of your Apple subscription from Settings on your iPhone or iPad
• The last four digits of the card, or the PayPal email address you paid with

We can't review a refund until we've found and verified the subscription, so sending these up front gets you an answer fastest.

How Long Does a Refund Take?

Once a refund's approved, we'll email you to confirm the amount. The money usually lands back in your account within five to 10 business days, depending on how you paid and on your bank.

Is Cancelling the Same as a Refund?

No. Cancelling stops future payments but doesn't refund one that's already gone through, so a refund has to be asked for separately. And uninstalling the app doesn't cancel anything either. Here's how to cancel your subscription.

Either way, your family keeps free Basic access afterwards, so your kids can carry on playing every day.

What Happens If I Don't Cancel a Free Trial?

A free trial turns into a paid subscription automatically when it ends. Cancel before the trial's up and you won't be charged.
