Why use an app to learn a language?

There are many benefits to using an app with your child to learn a language!

It’s Fun!

Children learn best when they are entertained, and this is because when we have fun we activate the emotional area of our brain which is close to the brain’s memory storage unit (Adžija y Sindik, 2014). We at Lingokids wanted to prove that our applications are more effective than traditional teaching methods, so we collaborated with psychologists at the Universidad de Complutense who tested our product on a group of five-year-olds. The results remarkably favored the Lingokids games. The children in the experimental group of Lingokids retained twice as many words as those who were presented vocabulary using flashcards. Learn Anywhere and Anytime

Our Lingokids Unlimited subscription has access to the offline mode, so your child can play whenever, wherever. Using the app at home gives your child exposure to a native speaker that can fit into any family's schedule.

Learn at Your Child's Pace, Without Constraints

You never know what will capture your children's interest. Some days they may be in the mood for quiet activities or games that are familiar to them. Other days, they may want to run outside and go on an adventure, learning new things they've never heard of before. By using Lingokids, you can accommodate all of these needs! Ideally, children will use the Lingokids application for four or five times a week for about 15 - 30 minutes at a time so that they can learn something new and practice material they’ve reviewed in the past.
