Subscription Renewal Not Showing or Can't Log In After Renewing

Renewed and something looks off? Nine times out of ten it's either that the payment hasn't gone through yet, or that the app is logged in under a different email address than the one the subscription sits on. Check those two and you'll usually have your answer.

How Do I Check Whether My Renewal Went Through?

1. In the Kids Area, tap your kid's name in the top left corner, then tap Parents Area.
2. Enter the year you were born to pass the Parental Gate.
3. Tap the Parent Profile icon, then Account.
4. Look at your renewal or expiry date and your current status.

If the renewal date looks right, your subscription is active and you're all set. If it hasn't updated, carry on below.

My Renewal Isn't Showing. What Now?

Two things to check, in this order:

1. Did the payment actually go through? Check with whoever took it — Apple, Google Play, Amazon, Huawei, or our billing portal if you subscribed on the website. See understanding charges on your account for how to tell.
2. Are you signed in to the right account? Your subscription is tied to the email address you subscribed with, so logging in with any other won't find it.

I Can't Log In Since Renewing

A fresh install usually clears it. Your kids' progress and your subscription both live on your account rather than on the device, so nothing is lost.

1. Delete the Lingokids app and reinstall it.
2. Open it, tap Log in, and enter the email address your subscription is under.

Not sure which email that is? Your receipt will show it — and if you can't find the receipt, send us what you have and we'll track the subscription down.
