We can't refund a subscription bought through the App Store — Apple takes the payment, so Apple handles the refund. That's the case regardless of our own refund policy windows, because the money never passes through us.
How Do I Know If I Subscribed Through Apple?
Open your payment receipt and look at the wording on the charge — an App Store subscription shows up as Apple or iTunes Bill. You can also check on your device: open Settings, tap [your name], then Subscriptions, and look for Lingokids in the list.
How Do I Request a Refund From Apple?
- Go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in with the Apple Account you used for the purchase.
- Find the Lingokids charge in your purchase history.
- Select Request a refund and choose a reason.
- Submit the request.
Apple reviews it, makes the decision, and gets back to you directly. We don't see those decisions and can't influence them, so Apple is the one to chase if you're waiting.
Does a Refund Cancel My Subscription?
No — asking Apple for a refund doesn't stop your Lingokids Plus subscription renewing. To stop future charges, cancel it separately:
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap [your name], then Subscriptions.
- Select Lingokids.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
Once a paid subscription ends, your family keeps free Basic access, so your kids can carry on playing every day.
