We can't refund a subscription bought through the Amazon Appstore — Amazon takes the payment, so Amazon handles the refund. That's the case regardless of our own refund policy windows, because the money never passes through us.
How Do I Know If I Subscribed Through Amazon?
Open your payment receipt and look at the wording on the charge — a subscription bought through the Appstore shows up as Amazon. You can also check your Amazon account under Your Memberships & Subscriptions and look for Lingokids in the list.
How Do I Request a Refund From Amazon?
Contact Amazon Support through your Amazon account and mention the Lingokids charge. Have the order date and amount from your receipt to hand so they can find the payment quickly.
Amazon reviews the request, makes the decision, and gets back to you directly. We don't see those decisions and can't influence them, so there's no point coming to us in between — Amazon is the one to chase.
Does a Refund Request Cancel My Subscription?
No — asking Amazon for a refund doesn't stop your Lingokids Plus subscription renewing. To stop future charges, cancel it separately:
- Go to Your Memberships & Subscriptions in your Amazon account.
- Select Lingokids.
- Choose Cancel Subscription.
Once a paid subscription ends, your family keeps free Basic access, so your kids can carry on playing every day.
