If you see a "reCAPTCHA check failed" error while paying or updating your Lingokids account, refresh the page and try again. If the error appears a second time, try completing the payment in a different internet browser. The error does not mean there is a problem with your card or your Lingokids account.
How Do I Fix a "reCAPTCHA Check Failed" Error?
Work through these steps in order. Most "reCAPTCHA check failed" errors clear at the first step.
- Refresh the page and complete the payment again.
- If the error appears again, open the same page in a different internet browser and complete the payment there.
If the "reCAPTCHA check failed" error still appears after both steps, get in touch using the link below and tell us which browser and device you were using. That detail helps us find the cause faster.
Why Does Lingokids Use reCAPTCHA?
reCAPTCHA is the security check that confirms you are a person and not an automated program, sometimes called a bot. Lingokids uses reCAPTCHA on the website pages where you create or change account details, including payment pages, so that nobody can use an automated program to get into your account or make fraudulent transactions.
reCAPTCHA looks at how a visitor interacts with the page to work out whether a person or a program is behind it. A "reCAPTCHA check failed" message means the check was not confident either way, so it stopped and asked you to try again. It is a precaution rather than a sign that something has gone wrong.
