If you signed up using Apple's Hide My Email, your Lingokids account is tied to a private Apple relay address rather than your usual email — which is why logging in the normal way doesn't find it. Turning Hide My Email off for Lingokids, then signing back in with Apple, gets you to your account.
Why Does Hide My Email Stop Me Logging In?
When you use Hide My Email, Apple creates an address ending in @privaterelay.appleid.com and gives that to us instead of your real one. So your Lingokids account is under that relay address, and typing your usual email won't match it. It's also the address you'll see on any receipts.
How Do I Find and Turn Off Hide My Email for Lingokids?
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Sign-In & Security.
- Tap Apps Using Apple Account.
- Scroll down and select Lingokids. You'll see Hide My Email is on, with your relay address shown underneath — worth noting it down.
- At the bottom, tap Stop Using Apple Account.
You'll be signed out of Lingokids straight away. That's expected.
How Do I Sign Back In?
- Open the Lingokids app and tap I Already Have an Account.
- Tap Continue with Apple.
- Tap Continue in the pop-up. This time, choose to share your real email rather than hiding it.
- You'll land on the Kids Home, with your subscription and your kids' progress just as they were.
What If That Wasn't the Problem?
If you can't find Lingokids in that list, or you never used Hide My Email in the first place, something else is going on. Tell our support team what you're seeing and we'll work it out with you — and if you'd rather we checked before you change any Apple settings, just ask.
